What's in the data
- Buildings — one row per benchmarked building and disclosure year (exports lead with the latest year; data files and the API carry every year): ENERGY STAR score, site and source EUI, GHG emissions and intensity, gross floor area, property type, year built, reported owner, address and coordinates.
- Offices — one row per office-class parcel in a covered metro: recorded owner, use code, floors, building area, assessed values, last sale, tenant counts.
- Federal leases — one row per active GSA lease: annual rent paid, rentable square feet, effective and expiration dates, renewal options, lessor.
Signed-in users find export links, alerts, data files and API keys on the account page. API and MCP docs: /developers.
Scope: only buildings a disclosure law requires to report (generally large buildings in ~50 jurisdictions) appear here — not every building in a city — and alerts fire when the source publishes, which for most programs is once a year. Building data is compiled from the municipal and statewide benchmarking disclosures listed on the methodology page — NYC Local Law 84, Boston BERDO, DC BEPS, Chicago, Seattle, LA EBEWE, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Denver, Atlanta, Miami BE305 and California AB 802 among them. Office and lease data come from county assessment rolls, business-tax receipts, the Florida corporate registry and the U.S. General Services Administration lease inventory. Questions? kenny@hyder.me.
