The latest disclosures cover 543 K-12 school buildings in Chicago, out of 3,852 buildings citywide. Stagg's ENERGY STAR score of 48 compares with an average of 45 across the 365 that report a score; it scores higher than 56% of them and lower than 43%. Its site EUI of 81.0 kBtu/ft² is about 11% above the average of 72.7 kBtu/ft² — it uses more energy per square foot than the typical building in that group.
